This Waterfront Bellingham Hotel is Luxury for Dogs (and Humans Too)!
Hello Adventurers,
We loved our stay at the Hotel Bellwether. Sitting at the heart of Bellingham Harbor (and part of the new waterfront district) the hotel boasts spectacular views of the San Juan Islands and Vancouver Island, and -with its classic architecture and 66 stylish rooms-is as beautiful inside as it is out. The hotel is located adjacent to Zuanich Point Park and the Bellingham Marina. This swanky hotel is the winner of the 2020 best lodging category in Bellingham Alive! “Best of the Northwest” and is the number one luxury hotel on King 5 News’ Evening Magazine.
From walking in the front door, Hotel Bellwether is pup-oriented, from the friendly staff to the complimentary doggie cookies! Barb and I got a room overlooking the water, she loved the beautiful view and the fresh salty air- and I loved looking at the birds out the window! We loved snuggling in the comfy king-sized bed and Barb enjoyed the tasty northwest local coffee. The morning walk along the beautiful Bellingham waterfront was fabulous.
The Bellwether staff treated us like VIPs, I got lots of pets and Barb got A+ service. Did you know they have a canine concierge, a springer spaniel named Bella? Whether we were snoozing in the room or exploring the outdoor patio and walkways, The Bellwether offers a great stay for the discerning pup. Overall, we give Hotel Bellwether 5 paws!
