Team Up To Snuffle Out Hidden Buried Treasures! The Elusive Truffle Treasure!

Truffle-ho, to the hunt!

The truffle hunt, that is! Do you love the amazing taste of truffles? Do you love experiencing the great outdoors with your best human friend forever (BHFF)? What about searching for buried treasure? What about an adventure that deepens the bond and increases the communication and understanding between BHFFs and BFFFs?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may want to consider learning to truffle hunt! Barb and I are taking training right now with the Truffle Dog Company.

The Truffle Dog Company has the best trainers! With zoom-based classes, adventurers from all over the world can learn how to sniff-out some tasty truffle treats!

Barb and I have been learning the fundamentals via zoom and we are having so much fun! The Truffle Dog Company trainers break the Truffle Hunting Adventure into easy steps and games to sharpen my nose and strengthen our communication. I am learning to recognize the scent of truffles and Barb is learning to understand what I am telling her, and each time we realize that we understand each other a little bit more, it is AWESOME!

We are having a blast and we haven’t even started the hunt yet! With any luck (and with cooperative weather) we may have our first Truffle Hunting Adventure this year. How about some black truffle mashed potatoes? Fettucine? Brushetta with some truffle honey? Yes, please!
